This webring is for websites and webpages devoted to African violets (genus Saintpaulia). African violets are gesneriads (i.e. members of the Gesneriaceae plant family) and they are related to plants such as Streptocarpus, Sinningia, Chirita, Gloxinia, Kohleria, Alsobia and Aeschynanthus - all of which are popular houseplants. Application for membership of The Saintpaulia Webring is open both to commercial growers and hobby growers.
